Article 34. The Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Auditor will be appointed by the Minister of Transport.
2. The Vice-Chairman and Directors will be appointed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors after obtaining the approval from the Minister of Transport.
(Term of Office)
Article 35. The term of office shall be two years. However, the term of a substitute officer shall be the remaining term of the predecessor.
2. Officers may be reappointed.
(Disqualification Clauses)
Article 36. Any person who comes under any of the following subparagraphs shall not be an officer:
(1)Any member of the staff of the Government or local public body (excluding a part-time worker);
(2)Any person who engages in the manufacture or sale of goods, or contracts for construction work, and, at the same time, has close interests in transactions with the Organization, or is an officer in the case when said person is a juridical person(including any person who has the responsibility or governing power equivalent to or more than said officer, irrespective of his title);
(3)Any officer of an organization of the business proprietor as described under the preceding subparagraph (including any person who has the responsibility or governing power equivalent to or more than said officer, irrespective of his title).
(Dismissal)
Article 37. The Minister of Transport or the Chairman of the Board of Directors shall, when any officer whose appointment has been made by either the former or the latter falls under any of the subparagraphs of the preceding Article, dismiss said officer.
2. The Minister of Transport or the Chairman of the Board of Directors may, when any officer whose appointment has been made by the either former or the latter falls under one of the following subparagraphs, or is judged to be unqualified as an officer, dismiss said officers:
(1)When it is judged that said officer is unable to carry out his duties due to mental or physical problems;
(2)When there is found to be violation in the performance of duty.
3. The Chairman of the Board of Directors shall, when intending to dismiss any Director who was so appointed under the provisions of the preceding
